I’ve just had a meeting with Anglian Water – watch to hear the updates.
Anglian Water has been failing people in MK and whether it’s been low pressure or no water at all, it’s simply not good enough.
I’ve written to the Secretary of State to make sure the government is aware of the situation, and I’ll keep pushing Anglian Water on the need to give Milton Keynes a water system that we can rely on. A situation like this absolutely should not happen again.

Last nights special council in her memory was truly beautiful and we had the opportunity to not just celebrate her achievements but also celebrate her wonderful and fiery personality and the memories she left us with.

Katie is doing incredible work with children across the city helping them to find the confidence to experiment with creating their own brands. I even had the opportunity to try some of the smoothie brands that they had made 🍓
I’m so excited to see Katie roll out her programme to more schools across our city and show us where the entrepreneurial talent is

1. A visit to DOTS Chiropractic, one of our incredible local businesses, who are working hard to ensure residents in MK can get the self care they need 🧖♀️
2/3. Joining young entrepreneurs from EduKate Entrepreneurs to celebrate the launch of their drinks brands – a huge shout out to Katie who is making this all a reality and encouraging young people to pursue a business mindset 🥤
4. Speaking to the Fabian Society about ending homelessness – this week I visited one of the accommodations in the constituency to talk to council staff about what is needed to provide support for those transitioning from rough sleeping 🏠
5. As always, championing online safety and a version of the internet where young people can explore their passions and interests without being faced with harmful content 💻
