Welcome
YOUR MILTON KEYNES CENTRAL MP
My Activity
So, I’m so glad to see this government taking action against illegal settlements that are harming civilians and driving Palestinian citizens out of their homes.
Peace must be secured and a two-state solution must be a reality.
The safety of young people and children online is not negotiable. Tech providers have an obligation to create a healthy online space not a harmful one.

Primary and Secondary schools can apply for £1000 to help fund their breakfast club in whatever way you would like.
This is a fantastic initiative alongside the free breakfast clubs that are being rolled out by the Labour Government (we now have several across the city!) 🏙️
No child should have to start the day hungry – a full tummy is a full future

It was a fantastic 4 weeks and the Parliament trip each week was a huge hit – Parliament should be a place for everyone
Thank you such much to Amy and Mahdiyah for creating this fantastic video 📹

I love doorstep conversations and it’s always great to hear from residents about how they feel living in Milton Keynes 🏙️

So why not pop to the cinema to see a new release or catch a re-run of a favourite film
And there is sooooooo much to do in the Xscape if you want to extend your adventure, from great places to have a meal to mini golf and bowling!

The new post office reopened, bringing reliable and permanent postal service to the City Centre. I held the Great Milton Keynes Get Together in honour of my good friend Jo Cox. It was the second year of my Summer Researcher Programme which offered work experience to 40 students in the constituency. I engaged with lots of our fantastic local businesses and charities from local media and radio to food. And all the fantastic events run across Milton Keynes this summer, many of which were free and accessible to families.
I’m so grateful for every summer as your MP in Milton Keynes Central ❤️

I’m glad that PC Harpers killers will not be released from prison early– anyone who targets an emergency worker should never be eligible for an early release scheme. Emergency workers are the backbone of our country; they keep us safe when we need them the most.
This Sunday Milton Keynes did what it does best, coming together to celebrate local businesses and raise money for local charities at Sophie’s Street Feast. I’m so pleased to hear that £2,500 was raised (so far, you can still donate!) for Toy Box Charity, 5 On It and Nutritroops – 3 local charities that put the futures and health of children in our city first.
I had a great time alongside @chriscurtismp checking out the games put on by Nutritroops and getting to see so many of our local food businesses. Our independent food culture in MK is truly like no other.
A huge thank you to Sophie Neal for organising such a fantastic event (she’s been putting this fantastic event on since 2023!) and being the best advocate for Milton Keynes and all it has to offer.

In Parliament I’ve had the fantastic opportunity of meeting with Guide Dogs UK whose work is invaluable 🌟
I know that dogs can play such an important role in the lives of people every single day and my team would certainly attest to that!
Here are some snaps of my team and their relatives furry friends ❤️

What a great match between MK Dons and Huddersfield Town, I can’t wait to see where this season takes us 🌟
Come on you Dons 👏

Week 3 took on Parliament in style with some great photos and a fantastic chat with Zoe Crowther from PoliticsHome about careers in journalism. They also enjoyed chatting to staff about what working in Westminster is like. We also bumped into Mike Reader MP!
The day in Parliament is all about demystifying politics in the place that it so often happens. Westminster should be a place for anyone and everyone, especially our young people.
Also, we’re 3/3 for on Larry appearances – truly the cutest little politician

These are fantastic changes that will be transformative from people in MK whether that is cheaper bus fares keeping more money in families pockets or support for our grassroots music venues 🌟

The students on the first week of my summer researcher programme also felt strongly about this issue!
Junior created this fantastic video on the cap which will be effective from January 2027 🚌
When I had the cabinet responsibility at the council for housing, I was committed to reducing rough sleeping and introducing more continuing between charities and the council. However, support should not be a postcode lottery.
The no second night out policy is such an important part of our city but should be national.
I look forward to seeing how this commitment takes shape.
Regardless of how you did today, just know you’re making Milton Keynes proud – our city is always full of opportunities for you
Spend today celebrating your hard work and relaxing 😎
