Both schools did an incredible job defending their sides and put forward knowledgeable and assured arguments – ultimately, we saw the 2026 crown go to Hazeley, congratulations to their amazing team! And another congratulations to Shenley Brook End for making it to the finals and fighting with just as compelling arguments. 🏆
A huge thank you to every school who participated throughout the competition and the schools who joined us for a tour around Parliament!

I’ve spoken a lot about the dire state of women’s healthcare; from institutionalised medical misogyny, to the underfunding of research, to the epidemic of women being gaslit by healthcare professionals. The effect it’s had on every generation of women won’t fade overnight, but I’m really encouraged by the excellent steps being taken in this renewed strategy and I’m so glad to have a government that wants to take the sexism out of healthcare.

This Labour Council has already delivered new council homes on the Lakes Estate 🏡
Everyone deserves an affordable place to live in our city 🏙️
As the project continues to develop there has been consultation on many features to the line including an Eastern entrance for Bletchley Station and a new fully accessible station at Woburn Sands on the Marston Vale Line. It was great to attend the EWR event in Parliament to discuss these matters.
I understand that the delays to this project have been frustrating for many and I will continue to engage with those in charge to fight for an opening date for the line.

We have a thriving tech and science sector that so many students could be taking advantage of, especially when we are at the heart of the Oxford-Cambridge growth corridor.
A university will help Milton Keynes continue to deliver on opportunities for young people so that they do not feel they have to move out of our city. They deserve to build fulfilling lives and careers here.
