Around 1 in 10 fathers face post-natal depression and do not have access to the support they need. We must see improvements in the provision of men’s mental health.
All fathers in Milton Keynes and the UK should be able to take paid paternity leave in order to spend time with their children in some of the most special weeks of being a parent and support their partner.

She was on her way to help her constituents.
Jo inspired me in so many ways and her drive to make change lives on.
It was honour to speak about her as an incredible friend, mother, sister and public servant last week alongside many other MPs.
I knew Jo best as a mum and today, I’ll be thinking about her family and loved ones.
10 years on, it is vital that our communities are choosing connection over division. Kindness over hatred. Her words that “we are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us” should be a guiding force to all of us.
Join us to reflect on the incredible achievements of Jo Cox and do what we do best, coming together as a community. Milton Keynes is a beautiful community, and I want this event to connect us all. 🫂

It was great to hear Callum’s perspective about social media as a hobby and a place where he can connect with his peers. For many young people social media is a constructive part of their lives. This is why it is so important that big tech companies take responsibility for allowing harmful content to flood onto feeds.

We must not end up in a place where companies are continuing to scapegoat responsibility for the safety of young people. A blanket ban does not change the fact that algorithms are continuing to deliver harmful content to social media users.
It is so important that we look at the online sphere as an experience and not just through the lens of certain apps. Encrypted messaging apps and gaming services can be just as dangerous as Instagram and Snapchat.
