Our Hospital services the whole city and it is vital that it is delivering high quality healthcare to all residents. The new Women’s and Children’s Hospital will be integral for increasing capacity, and comes alongside the new radiotherapy centre and £5 million in ventilation and building fabric updates.

Chronic illnesses such as diabetes can be tricky to navigate particularly after first diagnosis. Diabetes UK and their champions including Abdul are so important in showing those who are anxious that they have a community of support and advice around them.
Champions like Abdul play a vital role in raising awareness of conditions like diabetes and encouraging residents in Milton Keynes to stay informed about their health.
Their Friendship Club allows older residents in our community to forge connections and spend time with one another, something that is so important during this festive season. Events like these show that love and compassion are at the core of our city.
We were also joined by the Last Summer of the Ukeleles who put on a fabulous performance!
