What is a constituency surgery?
A constituency surgery is a series of one-to-one meetings that a Member of Parliament (MP) has with their constituents. This gives constituents the opportunity to make appointments to meet with them to discuss issues affecting them, issues they care about or problems they are facing.
I hold an appointment only constituency surgery on the first Saturday of every month. I’m here to offer assistance on a range of issues such as housing, healthcare, welfare benefits and asylum and immigration. Please get in touch by filling out a contact form here, or by emailing your name, address and a brief summary of your case to emily.darlington.mp@parliament.uk. My team will get in touch with you as soon as they can to book you an appointment. Please note that appointments are booked on a first come first serve basis.
