As part of my ongoing online safety campaign, I carried out a survey of 14-16 year olds in schools across Milton Keynes Central to hear directly from young people about their experiences online. It explores how social media and digital platforms affect them, what they feel works (and doesn’t) when it comes to online safety, and what changes they believe the government should consider. The survey also examined young people’s views on potential restrictions or bans, to understand the level of support and concern around these ideas.
Below, I’ve linked the survey results, which reflect the voices, experiences, and opinions shared by participants.
